We would all love to have a crystal ball that tells us immediately weather we this new person is going to be the one or if we should just not even bother with getting to know them... I mean who has time for such nonsense anyways, right?

Well, with a few simple self-questions you can definitely come closer to a conclusion on your current or future relationship!

1. Do I love myself?

If so...you won't have problems loving others.

2. Does my relationship have mutual respect?

If the answer is 'yes' then you are closer to bliss!

3. Do I have problems with compromising?

Relationship is about compromise and mutual respect.
If you can't give them that, and they can't give that to you - then you're already over... you just don't know it yet.

4. Do we want the same things in life?

Do you both want kids?Do you both believe in marriage? Is it important where you live? Who will go to paternity/maternity leave?

5. Are those little things I dislike now going to be the things I despise later on?

Does religion matter to you or not? Is smoking okay in the long run? If you ever feel like you're in a relationship where you're expecting to change the other person - get out now...you won't change them.

There are obviously compromises in a healthy relationship that I will have to make in order to make both me and my partner happy. But how can I do that without totally giving up my own needs and wants at the same time? There is a difference between compromise and sacrifice. There are good compromises that improve a relationship, and bad compromises (sacrifices) that will lead to bitterness and resentment between you and your partner. Good compromises help you and your partner grow together as a team. They foster trust, accountability, consistency, and security in your relationship.

Relationship is about compromise. It should be comprise. It should not be sacrifice. Time is precious for everyone. We all have 24 hours. Few people have busy schedule. It doesn't mean that consider it as nonsense things.

What world thinks doesn't matter. What that person thinks matter about the MAIN PURPOSE of staying in long term relationship. 🇮🇳
