we have been going out for over a year and a half now and she knows I have problems with weight gain and have tried so hard to put on weight but I worry sometimes she might leave me for bigger more muscly boys because although im almost 18 I don't feel as much of a man because I feel too small.

All types would hit on me, muscular guys when i went to gym, rich guys when they tried to ask me out, all types would ask me out. But you know what I loved my exes at the time, never cheated, and never left them for any of those men. Your gf was with you for a year and half so far. You are probably a really great guy that being super muscular isn't needed.

Sweetie, my boyfriend is the very tall, very skinny type who really doesn't put on weight either, no matter how hard he tries. And you know what? I couldn't care less. I love his build, I love him, I find him attractive as hell. Not all girls want a big muscle man. You're not giving your girlfriend much credit to assume she may be so shallow as to leave you over something she's already accepted. Something i think young guys put way too much effort into trying to be big and have big muscles. She liked you from the start so own who you are and be proud! Yeah - I'm not trying to be a dick about this, but you may be right. Chicks are massive hypocrites about most things, the biggest one is claiming to love someone 'just the way they are' when in reality they'll ditch you as soon as someone richer/ better looking/ stronger comes along.

Get to the gym, work on the chest - 3 times a week for 2 hours. Pump out... then, well... world's your bro - you can then go reverse the situation - go ditch her for someone better.
