My boyfriend kissed my best friend while they were drunk!

My boyfriend and I along with a few friends got drunk the other night. Of course because we were drunk, the conversation turned to sex and then my boyfriend said he wanted a threesome. I was laying next to him on the couch and my friend was there too, and he pushed us together and tried to make us kiss, but then he kissed her! I was upset. I told him I was not okay with that and he stopped and said he was sorry. But I'm confused. Should I be mad still? Should I let it go because it happened while they were really drunk?

I really care about this man, and he's never done anything like this before. In fact, he is very loving and everything I could ask for. So of course I don't want to make a big deal and break up over this. What do I do? We haven't talked about this while sober yet, and I'm afraid to make him think that I'm digging up a mistake. I want to know how this sounds to other people. Should I just drop it?

I think you have to look at it in black and white and weigh up if him being drunk was a good enough excuse to disrespect you like that.

Is it something you could move on from and forgive or are you always going to be stewing on it?

If you decide to forgive him though at the very least I would talk to him about it and say it was unacceptable.

Ill be honest though if it was me I would be none to happy.He suggested a threesome and then kissed my best mate? c'mon now,drunk or not, if a guy did that to me I would most likely give him his cards,but then lots of people would call me harsh.

Id be saying "Yeah this guy is everything I could ask for-except for wanting a threesome and getting off with my mate when he'd had a few".

Weigh it up,it all depends how strongly you feel about it and if you can counteract what he did with the fact he was drunk.

But don't keep quiet because your afraid of what he thinks-he should he afraid of what YOU think after what he did! lol.

If your more understandng then me at least clear the air and tell him he was completely disrespectful and he hurt you.

i think that wasn't right.He shouldve known better even if he was drunk.Do you think he might hav had feelings for her and his drunkness made those feelings be seen?You should talk but let him kno he's not in any kind of trouble.Just let him kno its ok for you two to talk things over an be completely honest with eachother.

In my opinion he should not have done this.I would get mad at him for a while to make sure he knows that what he did wasn't right and that he shouldnt do it again...But id let him off the hook for now..

People use alcohol as way to display behavior they truly want to when they are sober, but don't have the courage to do so until they have been drinking.

So, this is something he wants, but hasn't had the courage to discuss it with you like a committed, respected couple would do before acting out.

He may be a great guy, but what you should realize is that he's going to act out like this a lot more when drinking, because there are things he is thinking that he doesn't feel secure in talking to about when his mind is clear.

See, if does something like this, he can blame the alcohol. But in reality, it has nothing to do with the alcohol, it has to do with him not feeling he will be accepted by you if he told you what was really on his mind.

I suggest a very serious sit down conversation about it, but don't refer to whatever happened as a mistake, and don't be judgemental about it.

Even though you have the right to feel that way, and I think there are some certain conclusions to be drawn, you'll never get him to open up with you if you judge those previous actions.
