My guy friend kissed me when he was drunk?

So we have known each other for the past 4 years. The last few months or so we have been flirting a bit, he always touches me in little ways, we sometimes have meaningful conversations etc etc... We also work together casually.

Last night he was a bit drunk (tipsy). The whole night of working together he constantly wanted hugs, playfully flirted and touched me... And eventually kissed me. He kinda asked my permission before he did it as well. After that he said he can do better and he kissed me again..

SO I do like him. What could this mean? Was it just the alcohol, was he being playful or could he really be interested in me? Normally he is quite shy...
