My guy best friend kissed me when I was drunk and now situation is awkward?

My guy best friend (he was sober) kissed me while I was drunk (I had some glasses of beer) and I kissed back and we make out.. the other day we texted shortly and neither of us mention the previous night.. Now we dont talk at all..

I don’t know what is happening.. I think that I like him, but does he like me? Why he isn’t trying to meet me again or to clarify that issue..

He does not want to meet you because he will have to justify his actions and rather than to try to blame you for what happened, he prefers to wait and see. If you forgive him or try to minimize what happened, then you agree to what happened and that does not speak in your favor at all.

Yeah, if another girl would tell me this scenario I would think the same. But the think is that I wasn’t so drunk like to lose all my control. I just couldn’t think too clearly.
This is why Im blaming myself too. And I remember him, he has been always so nice to me. I can’t imagine him as a criminal :(.. am I a silly naive?

He clearly misused you when you were intoxicated. He would probably not even have tried if you would have been sober.

When you are intoxicated, you are not in full control of your capabilities and it makes it easier for anyone to attempt something.

Maybe you should break the ice and talk to him. For one, he could be feeling weird that he made that move while you were drunk (worried about having taking advantage). Also, he may not know what you remember, so if he mentions it and let’s say you don’t remember, he may think you’d get mad or whatever because again, it could be viewed as him taking advantage of a drunk girl. So bring the conversation to him and clearing it all up could be helpful.
