I feel that my boyfriend cares more about his friends and social life then he does me. what should I do?

he cares more about his friends and social life then he does me and he doesn't put the effort in trying to do things with me like he does everyone else. he is also always on these social networks and cell phone. we both work at different times and we have a two year old. I like to spend time with him but he act like he doesn't want to have anything to do with me.

He's likely just maintining with you because of the two year old. You are a textbook example of good solid birth control so you don't have kids until you are in a firm committed relationship/marriage.

He would rather be elsewhere but he has to keep things going/civil with you because of the kid. I think you need to take a good hard look at whether he is really the 'one' or you need to explore other options.

My guess is if you didn't have a child - you two wouldn't be together at all.

its crazy that you said that we are only together because of our daughter and that he wouldn't be with me if we had her because out of anger he has said it before

I only know two paragraphs about you but based on what you said - I'm reading between the lines. I'm pretty sure that is where he is comming from. Your best bet is to move on. The longer you hold out hope he 'comes to his senses' the more of your attractive and good looking years you are going to waste with the wrong guy. You need someone that appreciates you and wants to be with you - not someone just hanging around out of duty. He's clearly the later. Thats not helping anyone. ITs good that he wants to be in his daughters life and should be encouraged but if he doesn't love mom - its a bad example to set for his child and not what you deserve. I wish you the best.

I think you should mention it to him, maybe he doesn't realize that he's neglecting you. Maybe you guys can schedule a date night once a week where phones are to be turned off.

I've mentioned it to him before and he always say that i am needy and to clingy or that he doesn't like doing "gay" "lovey" stuff. i really dont know what to do because i love and care for him so much and i am always trying to find ways to keep the relationship happy and or easy.
