Is Love a blessing or a curse?

Sometimes I feel like it's a blessing but mostly a curse, like why do we have to fall in love?

Love itself is a blessing without a doubt, but everything related to love can turn into a curse real quick. Jealousy, lust, frustration, etc etc. If you manage to find someone where the good outweighs the bad (which is really important), it is most certainly a blessing.

Actual love is a blessing, fake love is a curse.

I don't think so because when it's fake it fades away but when it's real you have to live the rest of your life with that void in your heart.

Few people can tell the difference between the real deal, and pretend-love. Many a soul, gets caught in lustful infatuation and wrongful expectations.. that, is the curse of love. When two souls realize unity and fall in love, the two entities become one, leaving differences behind.. that, is the blessing of love.

Only pretend-love leaves a void. Wrongful expectations can do that.

when I said void I ment that not having that person in your life because of certain circumstances beyond anyone's control and you have to live with that and I know the difference between infatuation and love because I've experienced both

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. :)

But even love found at the wrong time is a blessing, more so than a curse. To have loved, is better than to never have loved at all, after all. I know a person myself, who found her love, a man perfect for her in every sense.. but the timing was, that they couldn't be together.. painful that it might be.. having experienced love, is still a blessing, regardless of how painful it can be. 😊

A wise person once said, that to truly let the world and all it's wonders inside, we'll first have to be torn open. Even the most painful experience can be molded into a source of strength, if we will it.
