He said he wasn't interested but now he wants me?

Like a month ago I told a good friend of mine I liked him and he said he just wasn't interested. We were really cool about it and he was sweet and we laughed it off after talking about it in person. Classes ended so I didn't see him often and we didn't text for a while. We recently made plans with some mutual friends to hang out and catch up. We ended up carpooling and we were fine the whole time but at the end, when we drove back to his house (my car was parked there), he asked me to come in for a bit to just chill. He ended up trying to kiss me and I pulled away because I was dumbfounded and kind of upset. He said I grew onto him? That I wasn't his type but he couldn't stop thinking about me since then and now he really likes me because I'm the only girl he's gotten so close with as friends. I feel weird because he was the one who rejected me and now he wants me to be with him. And is this even possible, becoming attracted to someone you weren't into before? Should I give him a chance?

its possible i guess. Maybe after you told him, it gave him time to see you in a different light. He could have rejected you at first because he was caught off guard with your feelings. I mean, it is rather sudden when a person you've only considered a friend confesses liking you. So yeah, I'd say it's normal for something like this to happen. But to be sure, it's best to talk with him about the sudden change of heart. Just to make sure it's not something sketchy. Not tommaay it is, but just to set things sdtraight between you too.

I guess, he really is a great guy and has always been genuine with me. I did tell him I need some time to think about this since it's understandable why I'm kinda flustered with this whole situation.

Its good that you took time to yyhink it over. Some girls would just jump at the chance to get wiyyh a guy, so you took the right step in establishing yourmfeekings before answering him. This way you can genuinely give him an answer before rushing the decision. Just follow your gut, good luck 🙂
