Why do girls & women look shocked and stunned when they see me?

Sometimes (actuelly in the last time quite often) women and girls (strangers) look at me with a shocked expression and mouth open when they see me. Some girls told me I am cute/hot/stunning. Is this normal and happens when you are good looking?
