Is it weird if couples read books to each other aloud before sleeping?

In childhood hearing bedtime stories and fairy tales from my parents was the sweetest and happiest time of my day. It was the time when no one argued or fought and we just enjoyed each other's presence. So It's very intimate for me. Is it weird to want to do the same thing with your partner every now and then?

Yes i think its cool I have a very visual imagination and I used to tell my X bedtime stories they're usually sexual but it was still bedtime stories and lots of funand fantasy sometimes it was so very hot that one thing would lead to another and sometimes they were so stupid they were so funny but yeah that's something that everybody should do a thing

That’s actually very interesting, never heard this before. I think it could be a cool idea to do and might make the relationship stronger because of the uniqueness of reading to one another before bed. Maybe I can read a piece and then hand it off or switch and my partner can read where I left off.

That's ironic. I've never had anyone tell me they want to read to me until the other day. I've never thought about it but it sounds comforting. Even if it was something I wasn't that interested in, just listening to their voice as I fall asleep sounds nice. I think it's a sweet idea.

Same. Dad knew only one story and I still loved listening to it, I felt safe and happy and would fall asleep before ending the story. When I found it hard to fall asleep mom helped me by reading a fairy tale and I would fall asleep so soon and easily.

2 of my ex's used to read stories to me before bed :)
One of them read me the hobbit and lord of the rings~ a chapter a night! I found it to be very bonding and relaxing

If your partner wants that you have to treat your one like child at that time only but other time treat and realize your partner that now we are very big persons so we have to stop treat each other like that before sleeping and if possible consulting with doctor could be essential because whole life you might not able to treat your partner like that

Not many people read books these days. I am into more modern entertainments too but I don't think reading can ever be outdated.
