Age difference... I'm 17. He's 28. What do you think?

We get on very very well. We connected almost immediately.

He looks younger than he is, I look older. When were together we don't notice the difference at all.

I know he likes me and wants to be more than friends.

But do you think the difference is too much? :/

No I don't think the difference is too much. You actually give me hope of getting my close friend who is 16 to like me. I'm 23. We don't live near each other but she's the most amazing girl I've ever met and I want to meet her someday, even if we just stay as friends I don't care, I at least want to have a shot with her but I keep thinking she'll think the gap is too big. :/

If I were 28 though, I wouldn't care if you were 17 if we got along well. So if he likes you, then yeah go for it. I wouldn't look down on you if I saw the two of you with each other. Age is just a number, and doesn't reflect our personalities inside. If you're personalities match, then there's no reason why either of you should be worrying about an age gap.

I'd say he's just trying to get some ass, it's easier for a guy to get some from young girls because they're naive and really have no clue what relationship is. Stick to 20 or younger if I were you.

I don't know the nature and culture of guys out there so it could be a little different.

What is the legal age in England, I just assumed it was 18.

Its 16, so its completely legal. And no not for ass...for religious reasons (both of us) he knows it wouldn't happen

This shouldn't be a problem at all. I'm 17 and in a relationship with my 29 y/o boyfriend. And it's actually working out fantastic. We've been on holidays abroad etc , and it was never a problem. Age is JUST a number. There's nothing wrong with it. Maybe you just want someone who is mature if your mature like me. Most guys my age are very immature, and I prefer to live my life the way it is. I'm so much happier this way.

its not gonna work. the odds of a 28 year old guy dating a 17 year old and SERIOUSLY having feelings for her are slim to none. most likely he's playing you and wants you to think he cares so he can get some high school butt.
