Why do I crave for a boyfriend?

Sometimes I have this intense feeling of wanting some male love, I don't know why. I always tell myself "Orianna, this is ridiculous, stop dreaming about this boy, you need to focus on your studies because these are useful while having a crush isn't!"

But I keep on thinking about him all day. Dreaming about him, imagining how it can be to kiss him on the cheek, on the neck, on the lips, how it can be to be in his arms, to make love with him (Also: I don't understand why I really want to do that kind of stuff since I am a virgin).
I also want to ask him a lot of questions on his life, what are his opinions on intellectual topics...

Ok so first things first, you're a human. Ding ding ding! That's why you are so sexually attracted to this man. Your body is literally trying to get you to procreate, it's pretty much instinctual at this point.

I see you care a lot about your education and that is truly wonderful. Having a crush is totally ok. Day dreaming is also ok, talking to him and asking about his life and his opinion on intellectual topics is very healthy as it might help you learn how to talk to someone you are romantically invested in. Not to mention he might have some good or bad points on politics or other controversial topics that you may or may not have thought about.

You can absolutely delete your feelings and focus on school. It will hurt, but you might end up farther in the career that you wanted to be in. I've been with the same lady for 11 years and I feel like I'm going in a great direction. That probably wasn't my best direction scholarly, but definitely the best direction I wanted my life to go.

Think about the payoff if you're successful- you'll get the guy you have a crush on. What are the chances he'll ask you out if you don't take the initiative, and how long will it take? Better to take control instead of waiting around. Guys generally respect that, and there's a very good chance he has absolutely no idea you're interested in him.

There's a way to satisfy the hormones for a short amount of time, but we are all essentially animals and all animals are driven by the same needs. Acting is the best solution, but how you act to it is a better question.

I am happy with studying! Sometimes it's hard, but having a crush is even harder because I can't concentrate but thinking about him.
