Guys and Girls: Traditional or Modern women?

This has been on my mind for quite sometime loll. I'm somewhere in the middle of this spectrum, but prefer "traditional men" for some reason? Like, one thing that initially drew me to my goofball was his commitment towards native cultures (Indian and Nepali) and fascination towards mine (Chinese, Filipino, and Vietnamese). Not to mention his conservative outlook on marriage and family (he's a keeper 🤗🤣).

Anyways, here's the meat of the matter...

Guys: What type of women would you prefer to have a relationship with?
Girls: What type of women would you prefer to become for your future?

Traditional (submissive and family-oriented)

Modern (assertive and work-oriented)

I think it's good to embrace your traditions, but I don't think it's good to let traditions restrict you. If there's a way of living you want to experience, then you should go for it; you should live your life the way you want to. You can still have an interest in your traditions and adapt some of them into your lifestyle, there's nothing wrong with that.

That being said, I prefer freedom of mind and choice. My ex I was near going to marry said we would have a modern wedding, and also a traditional wedding ceremony to properly accept my self into their family. She was explaining the steps, garments, prayers, and family members that had to be present. She wasn't super passionate about the tradition, but she knew it and wanted it to be a part of this milestone in her life for herself and her family. And I don't think there's anything wrong with that. If anything, I love it more than simple modern ways.

Traditional woman means feminine woman, I rather not date an woman who try to act more masculine than myself, and I don't want a serious relationship with a woman who lacks an maternal instinct, even though I can tolerate some feminist traits. Anyway traditional woman tend to be an safer bet. :)

I'm definitely somewhere between A and B. Whilst we are trying for a family at the present time I would be absolutely thrilled to be a sahm, however once the children became of school age I would more than likely wish to return to work.

A mix of both. I am far from being submissive, but I do want to have a family one day. Since I'm better educated than my partner I am most likely going to be the one who goes to work while he takes care of the kids.

I find men who think that Asian women are submissive and "traditional" have very little idea of Asian women outside their own immediate social circles.

It's surprisingly more common than you think especially among Asians living in Asia. My friends in America aren't submissive at all in public (neither am I loll), but being submissive is "cute" and a beauty standard in places like Singapore and Korea. I agree our representation in western media is still grossly exaggerated.

The root of most traditional ways of thinking is:

1. Woman who will be a great mom.
2. Woman who will be a great wife.

So literally any activity, action, skill, thought, etc that you have, does it support the first two goals, take away from the first two goals, or is irrelevant to the first two goals?

Honestly when I date I just make a judgement on how good a mom and wife she would be, great YAY, not so great, even if she has all sorts of accomplishments skills etc, doesn't matter she's useless to me.
