If anything, it’s the other way around. lol Men tend to be more simple. No one can fully understand the opposite sex, though.
Women do not and cannot understand men. And I don't think men really understand women.

Both men and women view the other gender to be as complicated as they are. The fact is that men are far simpler than women.

I would say something similar. Women think they understand a man. They get stubborn in that thought and never waver from it even if new information contradicts it.
A lot of guys get discouraged trying to understand a woman. Women will say one thing but mean the other, will want something but never let anyone know, will actually think they want something then get it only to figure out that it's the other thing they wanted. It's very daunting lol

I feel the same way. I've met many many women like that. The majority actually.
When you say they aren't open, do you mean they don't want to talk about it with you or they don't ask you questions you expect them to ask?
It's unfair to rope all men and women and they are incapable of understanding. More than likely they were going through something themselves and already had a pre-idealized image of you and understanding you would possibly ruin that or they didn't care enough about you to be concerned with who you really are.
The point is you move on until you find that person who knows you or makes an effort too

That sounds like you don't understand them.. they don't want to let you into their lives so they don't understand you? Men are very private. They want to deal with things on their own. It's a pride thing and how we are raised. Men are told to be the stoic rock for everyone. We shouldn't show emotion because it would make us look weak and if we look weak women won't want us and men will lose respect.
Men will open up but it takes time and patience. Understand they need to be alone sometimes to work things out themselves
@B-radley thats the problem "pride" doesn't make you better or worst. i am trusting you in heart and soul you should try do the same. even tho i problems trusting men i still try to open to you why can't you do the same communication is important in a relationship
You're proving you don't understand men. That the question was valid.
Let me help. I did t say Pride was a good or bad thing but it is a guy thing. We take pride in things we do, accomplish and weather through. Communication is important but you don't have to tell them everything. Men are raised not to talk about problems but to keep trucking forward. Women are raised to be there for each other. You can't expect a man to open up right away, there is a lot of reversal that needs to happen for that. I've shared my issues and insecurities in the past. It killed the relationship. Women say they want men to be open but it's to a point. What's wrong with just letting a man deal with his issues himself and just being their for him when he's ready to come back? Men have problems trusting women too. With their issues, with there love, with everything. Men know if they keep a problem to themselves nobody else will find out about it.
Issues regarding a relationship or with you is different. That's something that should be talked about in an appropriate Manner.
I've had women not want to open up, it sucked because I really wanted to be there for her but I couldn't. All I could do was be there for her. Distract her, talk to her and when she wanted to tell me she could.
Anon i'll answer that one because whe a guy open up to a woman a lot of times she judges him for it. A woman wants a guy to be this a woman wants a guy to be that. And if it's not what she wants at that particular time she'll judge him for it. It's just easier to NEVER let her in your kitchen ( head) so to speak.

As a guy who knows and have talked tons few girls I'd say that isn't true. Neither understands eachother. If girls really new guys they wouldn't freak out when we text the word fine, use a period, dont text back for a long time and when we do very short responses. And that's only the texting stuff😂

I have my fair share of insecurities, my fears and hateful feelings towards men sometimes. But I'm also looking at the other side (my side) to notice the malicious nature of many women today and their nasty, self-centered, umempathetic attitude. Then I realize that we may hate each other at times because we love and need one another. Otherwise we could care less.
