This guy was the department head if genetics research on Stanford University for years. Smart guy.
He surmises that our routine programs our subconscious mind and that once we're deep into a routine we're operating on autopilot. So in a way we're going through life not making conscious decisions about what we do day in and day out.

He has a lot of videos, short and long about a broad range of topics, depending on how deep one chooses to delve.

This is an eye opener and should be part of premarital counseling world wide.
