Guys, am I supposed to tell my boyfriend that I am going out to a bar with my girlfriend? Would the same thing apply if there would be guys present?

I have been in a long distance relationship for a while, we are always in touch. However, I don't know if I should disclose every detail of my day to him. My goal is to be a good partner and everyday I'm learning new things, that is why I came to this platform to see what a guy would want his partner to do in this situation. Right now I see myself doubting if I should share this type of information with him. I trust myself and I always disclose that I already have a partner so it's not a problem that someone from the opposite sex is present. However, I don't want to hurt my partner's feelings because I don't know if that would bother them.
I have told him about it and he was like "go for it". However, should I always disclose this type of information with him?

P. s.: I have gone out before with my girlfriends and guy friends but this would be the first time that a guy that I don't know will be present. He is coming because he is the friend of my girlfriend.
