For me it's normal to find someone attractive, but it doesn't mean I'm attracted to that person. I'm in love with my girlfriend and she's really pretty, I tried to make her see my point of view and she couldn't understand.

For her she has to be most pretty girl for me. But I would be lying, I don't mind if she finds a guy more pretty than me because there is, as long as she loves me I don't care! I'm trying to get her point of view, and I think she's really low self-esteem, and has some trust issues.

But I really try to considerate her and show to her that I love her and that she can trust me... But with this it got worse, and she's really hurt.

I totally agree that there’s nothing wrong with finding or people prettier but although you’re being honest I guess that’s just how we take things, not saying it’s right but I would also be a bit hurt by hearing my boyfriend say someone is prettier. It just unlocks some insecurities or we start to compare to the other girls. Like I said it shouldn’t be like that but I don't know it’s just a thing. Maybe saying something like “Yeah she’s very pretty, but to me you’re the prettiest girl out there.” Something like that would make it a bit better I think.

Next time I know, that's a good answer. For me she is the most pretty of them all, the whole package yes! I would love that she could feel that I really care about her, and it's not only about looks. I'm not the prettiest guy out there, I just need to make her feel like I do, that in the end it's us who matter, not what we look like.

You need to let your girlfriend know she is the prettiest woman ever. She may not be, BUT looks are subjective and Looks do matter in a relationship. This is exactly why looks so matter, because when it comes down to it people do care if their partner thinks others are attractive. I highly doubt you do not care if you aren’t the most attractive in your girlfriends eyes.

I highly doubt you wouldn’t care. Everyone says that. I even said that at one point with my boyfriend until circumstances changed in our lives and he had far more leverage to cheat if he wanted to. You two need to make each other feel like you only want each other. Me and my boyfriend do that for each other every single day and this is my best friend. No competition.
