I ask because it seems like I’m always meeting guys who either want polyamory or open relationships but I’m more the monogamous type. Just having one man who I really love is good enough to me. Is that trait even still appreciated?

I'm sure it is, as I'm a monogamous guy myself. As to why polyamory seems to be more... Widespread, I'd say that's probably because of social media amplifying it.
