Boyfriend Loving Sister Over Me. Okay Or No?

So my boyfriends sister just dislocated her arm and he is distraught and very on edge about it. He even started getting emotional because he didn't like seeing her hurt. Which I completely understand. The annoyance is, in a lot of things, he puts her over me. This scenario is an example of that case. She dislocated her arm and she is doing well thankfully, she is at the hospital in the bed and she's not in pain or anything. I messaged him to see how she is doing, as well as himself, and he kept telling me he had to go because he wanted to be vigilant with her (even though in the photos he sent me of her, his mom was on her phone which meant she wasn't in danger or anything) and when I would ask questions about her and her state (which I asked once only), he would get annoyed and tell me not to worry... but like, I was just checking up?
I fractured my back very severely as well as my ankle a couple months ago after I fell off my horse and he was NOT this alarmed. And I notified him before anyone. I was crying because of how much pain and shock I was in. He was just asking if I was alright, he never offered to come pick me up from the barn or take me to the hospital. Let alone get emotional about the physical pain I was in.
I love his sister and I honestly think their bond is really sweet. But it just bothers me a little knowing that he doesn't care for me as much as he does for her.
I just feel like a back injury should have been taken to with more care, especially from him...
Can anyone offer their opinions? I would love to hear them.

I would say don't let this bother you. He may just have a over protective personality and since that was his sister, he reacted that way. He just hasn't developed that for you yet. He will one day as time goes on. Having an over protective personality doesn't also mean for others, means for yourself too and can effect relationships because they stall getting close to the other person.

If you two have been dating for less than year, don't even worry about it, but if its been longer than that. Just mention to him respectfully how that made you feel, and that you wish he felt that way about you

Thank you for your opinion. We both know we're each other's soulmates, if you guys believe in that or not. That's why I'm just having a hard time accepting this.
I have siblings, and I put him above them always. He says he feels the same about me. He's always telling me how much he loves me and how much I mean to him. But this scenario is just odd.

Ahh ok gotcha, then go ahead and mention it to him how this made you feel while also reminding him that you understand that this is your sister, you don't want just words that he cares about you, you want to see actions.

Will do. Thank you. He does show me in many ways. This is the only thing that bothers me in our relationship. This dilemma only comes up once in a blue moon but I agree that it still has to be addressed. Other than that, we're incredibly happy and lovey with one another with our words and actions.

But if you see yourself in a long term relationship with someone, blood means nothing. If that’s the case- then he doesn’t love in a way that she may think. I love my boyfriend and if something happens- I jump. So if he doesn’t jump for her as fast as he would jump for his sister- then he doesn’t love her as much as she thinks.

I don't know about you but when you find ur spouse and marry them- they are now half of u. Which means they come first. They are your family. So ur telling me- that it would be appropriate for your father to run to his sister’s side but not your mother’s? Absolutely not.

Over two years.
Everything in our relationship is amazing and always has been thankfully. It's just this one thing that bugs me. He does show concern when I'm hurt, emotionally and physically, but sometimes, in certain situations, he will put her above everyone and everything. It's annoying only for the fact that sometimes, even when the case is not a dire one, like this one, he shows so much empathy and concern, and when I had a worse case, he shows less care for me. I. e. the riding incident I mentioned.
