I think it is common…. Women in nature have a motherly instinct to just “fix” and make everything and everyone better. *Not all women though*
It is common, and you often see women in relationships who stay with men who treat them poorly or men who are struggling within themselves because they feel the need to “fix” and help them but it backfires.
I’d say it’s pretty common. They want to be The One who could make him submit to her against the odds and when no one else could. It’s a very sexy idea.
False in most cases. It entirely depends on the woman and how badly she wants a guy.
I can honestly say I've NEVER been attracted to the "bad boy" types (if anything, they're actually a major turnoff). Nor have I tried changing a guy- basically I took them as they were: good, bad, broken... whatever.
"Fixing or taming" a guy serves NO purpose! Because if a guy likes you enough, he'll change of his own free will... and same for women. From what I've seen and heard, the twits that wind up doing that either end up hurt, or said person leaves them for someone else.
I think it's very common. If a girl likes that kind of guy, she wants to be the exception in his life, the one whom he settles down for.
I thought this was just a trope, sort of like men wanting to tame wild women. Lol. I mean I guess people like the film or novel version enough for it to sell, but I don’t see any of it in real life except in problematic relationships where one partner has issues, manifesting in fixer upper tendencies. It’s often extremely unbalanced and like any wobbly wheel, the wild partner will spring loose and roll away while everything else crashes. I have yet to see someone partner up with a beat up old jalopy of a human and emerge in a shining restoration of work that “car.” I can see how this idea is romantic and appeals to the savior in people, but I would personally never go there outside of Netflix.
I think that would be a subjective as someones favorite flavor of ice cream. Desire and prefrence vary greatly from individual to individual.
It is ok common, enough so I've seen it in real life a couple of times with young inexperienced girls.. and surely a lot of it in entertainment. That if the man falls for you he is changing to the better because of that xD
I think most Women would want to feel like the man changed because of them not necessarily try to change him
what lol who tf even has time for that, never heard of someone dating someone just so they can change them
I don’t think woman want to tame them, there are those that want the passion and thrill.
I think it's pretty common, just not realistic most of the time.
Taming men gets boring and then newsflash: he was an animal anyway
common in books maybebut in real you shouldn't change your man
It usually doesn’t work 😆I was so foolish at age 18-19 trying to do this. Looking back—never again lol
Lol when you actually try to change yourself you see it is very hard to change someone else UNLESS they want to be different
It's common like the rape fantasy
Ofc most women would never accept either of them
I don't have the time and energy for that
I've tried that myself, so I'd say it's common
Yeah fuck no.
