It’s disrespectful, but girl’s do this to their men as well, it’s basically a manipulative tactic , to make their partner feel insecure about themselves , and make them feel like they aren’t good enough , in a sense it’s abuse , some of my exes would compare me to other men and make me feel like I wasn’t good enough , or they make comments saying if her and I didn’t work out , she would tell me who she would go for , like she already thought about it and planned it , pretty much lining up her next victim, it’s so disrespectful and a slap in the face and it’s actually a narcissistic trait , my word of advice is to remove yourself from those type of people , get out while you can , because they don’t know how to love, they only love themselves , they are never wrong because they don’t put themselves in your shoes like they expect you to wear theirs , Realize you deserve someone that wants you like you want them , someone that can remove selfishness for you like you do for them , when someone is truly in love with someone, they don’t compare their partner to others , they become blind and value their partner and prioritize them , and compliment them and make them feel wanted , when you aren’t someone’s priority they are just using you and only liking the convenience of you , they are stringing you along until they find their next victim , once they find their next victim you become a piece of shit to them and then they act like a victim and convince everyone , friends and family etc that you are the bad crazy person when really they are the ones that is a total piece of shit. I was married to a narcissist and it was the worst experience I ever experienced in a relationship , It broken me inside , and my trust for people took a turn for the worst , when you give your heart completely to someone and then they turn around and shit on it , it’s a life changing event , You live with constant question marks on thinking what you did wrong , to make them do that to you , you start overthinking and analyzing shit in your head , to finally come to your senses and realize you did nothing wrong , you were just being abused and used without realizing it. Walking away from a narcissist is not easy, cuz it isn’t easy to spot , cuz they are so good at stringing you along making you feel like you are the one that is wrong and that they are the loving ones when really they are the piece of shit When you learn how to value yourself and love yourself and take a deep breath you will see their true traits and know when it’s time to walk away.
