Why would my female friend say this, especially in front of our whole friend group?

She said she had a dream in which she cheated on her boyfriend. Now here's the kicker. She said that, in the dream, she cheated on her boyfriend with me.

I wonder if she's regretting saying that now. Did it seem impulsive? Did she get weird about it later? Her boyfriend wasn't there, right? Is her boyfriend also in this friend group? Awkward.

Who knows what she's doing. She's either reckless and acts before thinking, or she wants you to know that she's into you. Maybe it's both.

I guess you should just play it cool and wait for this girl to reveal more, or unravel. She's kind of chaotic. Do you like excitement, lol...

Sounds like she wants you to know she's been thinking about you. Unless she's got a motormouth, she's giving you a pretty clear damn signal. Do you need her to clobber you over the head with a mallet? She likes you. And she's a free woman.

For one, the fact that she had a boyfriend. I thought I'd never get the chance, so my romantic feelings started to weaken, until I saw her just as a friend again. She knew I had feelings for her, but said I wasn't her type. And I told her I don't have romantic feelings for her anymore.

Yea if someone ever says you're not their type, believe em. Sure people will say their type can change over time but its always temporarily. You may hold certain things that her boyfriend lacks and so she dreams of you because she wants whst she can't have. But dont let that be a reason to get used in the end. Stay strong for me and resist that temptation she keeps hinting at lol
