I've never married so it wasn't an affair, but I've cheated. It had nothing to do with anything other than sex. I'm not a bad looking guy so I get a decent amount of attention from women. Then I went and fell in love WAY too early (in my mind) and couldn't leave her, but I still wanted to screw around with different women. By the second girl, I felt so sick about it I couldn't make it past the first kiss. Haven't cheated since and we've been happily together for 6 years. Sorry I know that wasn't your question
