Since the moment I met this man I was like wow. I went for an interview and he was the one who showed me around and we just clicked. I’ve never felt so drawn to someone before like I never knew what chemistry was until I met him even with my ex who I was with for 5 years - I’ve never felt like this.
Nothing serious ever happened between us but for a while I thought it would…
We are friends and get on great and after a year of knowing him we both began being extremely flirty with each other. He tried to kiss me at our Christmas party back in December but I stopped him because we were sat in front of all our coworkers even though I wanted to. He told me he liked me a lot and I told him the same. He is also 15 years older than me so I didn’t want anything to happen in front of our whole office.
Then back in February I found out he got back together with his ex girlfriend. So I tried to distance myself from him while still keeping a friendly work relationship but 6 months later I’m still crazy about him.
Now he talks about her to me all the time. He’s obviously very happy, he's always posting pics of them together and telling me what they are doing at the weekend and I just smile and nod while it stabs me in the heart. ( I’m glad he’s happy but omg it fkn stings )
Last month we all went out for drinks for the first time since Christmas and he sat with me all night again but nothing happened because he’s obviously happy and I wouldn’t do that to his girlfriend.
I have to see him everyday and work with him everyday and every time he looks at me my whole body shivers.
How do I stop myself having feelings for him?
