He blocked me because of his ex…what do I do?

We established a good friendship over 6 years and just started dating. His ex found out somehow popped out of nowhere and started emotionally abusing him. He said that she’s the kind of person who can harm me in some way and to protect me he is going to cut off contact before she does something. My cousin knows her and confirmed that it’s true, she’s not mentally sane. So he blocked me. We can’t communicate until she’s out of the picture. Do I just sit back and wait or take some more serious measures? Is getting the police involved a drastic step?

It's not up to you to get the police involved this is something he himself needs to do and he needs to do it right away if she is the kind of person she has been described

I find it odd that he wants to cut you off so easliy, but he probably is being truthful.

Give him some time, but don't wait forever or pass up other guys who might interests you. I don't think the police will do anything.
