Never been abroad with my mon now im older we would like to go abroad together how would you feel if this were your partner?

My mom was a single parent and never managed to take me abroad now were older we would like to gi together with my children but my partner doesn’t get on with her so he won't come although the offer is there from her. but also says if i go were finished as im older and have a partner now so we shouldn’t be going abroad together it should be me and him but i would also have opportunities to go with him and also said i wouldn’t gi with her until u had been with him? How do you feel about this im not sure what to do/think? How would you feel if it were your partner wanting ti go away?
