If you and your girlfriend/boyfriend got into a fight and they told you that you’re not what they were looking for, would you stay with them?

Along with telling you that you’ve done little to nothing worth caring about…

Would you stay with them and continue to try to work things out or would you feel like they didn’t mean what they said?

My boyfriend and I got into an argument last night and this morning I tried communicating to him that he made me feel unappreciated. And he flipped it all on me and told me that he wonders what a good girlfriend is… and that I’ve done little to nothing he’s ever cared about… and then followed it up with saying that he was hoping to find someone “real” amongst other things. Mind you, I have done so much for him. I have literally been there for him anytime he’s ever needed me, I’ve been a best friend to him literally. I’ve done so much just for him to spit in my face and tell me that little to nothing I’ve ever done was worth caring out.

What would you do if your significant other said those hurtful things but then when you broke up with them, they told you they didn’t mean anything they said? Would you stay with them if you felt like they truly didn’t mean it? Or would you leave because you felt like they truly did mean it? How would this make you feel if your significant other said these things to you?
