I've had feelings for a friend of mine for years. He's so sweet and kind. He just such a lovely person and I'm really falling for him.
We spent a lot of time together during the spring and summer and we become really close. He told me he'd broken up with his girlfriend 3 months ago and I didn't know how to react I played it cool and told him how sorry I was.
He told me he was okay it was just awkward for him. He said he no longer has feelings for her and that she was really controlling. She didn't like him hanging around with me or any other girls, she didn't like him going out with his friends and she would only let him see her once a week.
She went uni and he carried on with his life.
We went to a festival and we got a little drunk together. He started opening up to me but the only reason he was with his ex for so long is because he thought he couldn't do better and that he really saw himself having a life with a girl like me.
We ended up kissing and falling asleep in his tent together cuddling. When he kissed me my heart went crazy, I could really feeling myself falling even deeper for him.
The next morning he asked if we slept together and we just joked about it and said "you wish" he took me back to my tent and it was super awkward because all are friends were outside eating breakfast and didn't say anything just stared we just made a big joke out of it.
Ever since then we haven't spoken about it and act like it never happened. I see caught him stairing at me sometimes.
Then I find out a after 7 months they are back together. When he told I pretended to be happy for him. If I'm totally honest I hate her she's so rude and boring as hell.
It's his life but I know he'd be so much more happier in a relationship with someone much nicer than her
