I feel crying whenever I thought that i given my first love to a wrong person and whatever i did for her but she didn't care about it. i told it even my girlfriend so she said we will not talk about it again because it hurt me

I am in the same boat as you. Im a good looking guy, always got a lot of attention from ladies but decided long time ago to save myself for the "one" because I didn't want my first life experiences someone who wasn't my life partner.

I told this philosophy to my first girlfriend (we were both 21) and a year later we were going on overseas trips, concerts, you name it, all of which were first time experiences for me. I was madly in love and I thought she was too.

When I proposed after 4 years, she rejected me... turns out she cheated in the beginning of our relationship, her family didn't approve of my race and thought I couldn't support her as a new grad, and icing on the cake came out as lesbian after we broke up... She completely wasted what I spent my life preserving.

After 2 years I'm in a new relationship, and she is Soo much kinder than my ex. Literally the purest heart I've ever encountered.

My regret now is that I didn't have these first experiences with my new girlfriend, becuase I truly think they were wasted on my ex. Probably what you are feeling. Just tell your girlfriend that and if she's receptive and loves you, will show you how important you are.

My advice, just keep experiencing things with your new girlfriend, and over time your first love will fade like mine has.

It is natural to be sad or upset at things that you loved/liked in the past. The issue here is why are you in a relationship if you have not really moved on from the last one. That is the feeling that I get.

You do not mention how long it has been since you were with your ex. However, it does not sound like you got over her. While there is nothing wrong with that in itself, it is not fair to your current girlfriend.

It sounds like you should have waited and properly got over your ex before moving on. Would you want her longing for a past love? I doubt it. Nothing you can do about it now other than either break up or learn to let the ex go.

That takes time to get over someone. Something that you didn't apparently do. You can always have thoughts and memories. No one is going to stop that, nor is it reasonable. The part is that you are so emotional over it that you cry tells me that you are not over her.

It is always okay to cry when you are hurt. You are still hurt by what happened or by the nice time you had together and that you shared.

The problem I see is that if you cry in front of your current girlfriend and confess that you cry because you miss your ex, because you can't stop thinking of her or because of whatever reason you may find, your girlfriend will not likely accept that fact.

It does imply that you are not over your ex and that will make any new girlfriend feel bad about her being in a relationship with someone that is not over his ex.

She may terminate the relationship on the grounds that you love her less that you do your ex girlfriend.

If you have to cry, do it in full knowledge that you may hurt emotionally your current girlfriend. But in general, it is definitely not wrong to cry, even for a man.

Could you imagine how you'd feel if your girlfriend told you she regretted that her ex is with another person and started crying? The whole thing looks pretty inconsiderate to me. You should instead invest emotionally in her.

This is not the time to dump the remnants of your emotional baggage on your girlfriend because you're not over your ex.

It depends on how often you cry about it. If it's often then it seems like you're not over your ex yet.. also it seems like you're not in love with your new girlfriend. Which is ok, it's normal to date people just to pass time but remember that in time you will find someone else you love and this will make you forget about your first love and you will never cry about your first one again :)
