Having a Tinder is disrespectful, but I see it more as a potential pursuit of cheating/ sign of cheating, as opposed to cheating itself. If your partner has a Tinder it does need to be called out and addressed.

Maybe the person is just an unfaithful person, who you won't be able to trust, BUT it's also possible that something in the relationship is not right. They may be trying to find an alternative prior to ending the relationship, or they're looking for something that they're not getting in the relationship. It could be sex, it could be attention, or it could be interaction with someone they're attracted to (if their partner has let themselves go).

It can also just be for validation, or an ego boost. Many girls use Tinder purely to get attention, and have little to no interest in actually using it to meet someone (for a date or a hookup). I'm saying this as someone who's been on dating apps for years.

Still, if your partner is on Tinder it requires a conversation and expectations to come from that- in some cases it may lay the basis for a breakup.

It's at the very least disrespectful I mean your in a relationship why do have a active dating profile on tinder? That raises a lot of questions and definitely shakes the trust of the relationship.
