Why are private relationships this weird and they say private relationships are the healthiest is that true?

So from my experience private relationships are always weird two of my guy friends have always been active on social media my guy friend who had a girlfriend and had a daughter with only posted her on snapchat and never posted her again on any social media whole the girl was living a double life and this was before their daughter came in the picture, he start it cheating on her then my second guy friend who was in a relationship with this girl for two years never brought her up never said anything behaved like he was single then she got pregnant they rushed into marriage and moving in together but he start it to post her when they had their first daughter and then out of no where he start it to delete her pictures from his social media and little by little he became slick and stopped using social media but only gets on social media when he has the need to cheat and then it happen with me when i was in a poly relationship the dude never posted me but was cheating he felt forced to post the other girl on his social media only posted her once and she posts him all the time. And she is also pregnant by him but he isn't cheating. But he was cheating on for more than two years straight

They are nit that weird thats shows apparently you have friends that are both shit partners in relationships they are not the standered the same way a relationship where everything us posted online don't inherently mean a bad thing even if it comes off as attention seeking

But i never understood why people are always saying that private relationships are the healthiest relationships when i notice that they are worse than public relationships I don't know its just weird for me

I mean they are different but i had so many people say that private relationships are better but i have always noticed that with private relationships are always weird that its not as healthy as they claim to say they are i don't know if i will ever want to be in a private relationship

Private relationships aren't weird, posting your relationship stuff on social media is weird. Why would people need the attention from posting, if they can just get all the attention they want from their SO? Tbh social media in general is garbage, better to just not use it.
