My boyfriend called me a spoilt brat?

I bought a car today it’s 11 years old my first car I am so happy, he was happy for me too. But while I was looking around for cars I asked him to come with me an hour car trip to view a car that Saturday, this was last week. He said he didn’t want to sit in a car for 2 hours up and back on his Saturday. Anyway a half an hour after I bought the car he sent me a voice message about how his dads girlfriend just bought a new 2023 Mercedes it’s so nice I took it the wrong way and now he is calling me delusion, toxic, spoilt brat. Am I being petty? 😂 I bought this car with my own money, his car was a present. I tried to ask him a question about the car this morning and he replied “what is there to know”

For starters congratulations on buying your first car & as for your boyfriend some would drive away from him & as for you it’s your call however I’m sure you two can work this one out. Your dad’s girlfriend’s 2023 Mercedes is probably a lease anyway.

It's hard to speak authoritatively from one story of one interaction, but it sounds like he may be a narcissist, using you to make him feel good about himself and making sure you "stay in your place" by making you doubt yourself and think you are an inconvenience to him that he puts up with. If this is the case, my only advice is get out while you can
