My answer is YES. I was nice to / helped everyone: parents, siblings, friends, colleagues, relatives, neighbors. Some insulted me, some laughed at me, some cheated me, some scammed, some used me. I lost my faith in humanity. I have cut ties with everyone. I failed at my career goal, all of them laughed and made fun of me.
I only trust GOD. I am a religious person and I believe in GOD. I don't trust humans. GOD is my saviour.

Yes, but it's not for personal reasons. My life is fine, I have many amazing people in it and who inspire and delight me. I have of course had people lie, hurt, and betray me in my life, and who were not the best of people, but I have forgiveness for them and no hard feelings. I believe in individuals, it is the species of humanity that I do not have faith in.

My lost faith in humanity is more of a big-picture thing. The reason being all the killing, suffering, torture, human trafficking, rape, sexual assault, child abuse, racism/hate/bigotry, animal abuse, animal exploitation, human exploitation, destruction of the environment/forests/oceans/reefs/&c.

Every moment there are people out there torturing cats, pulling the skin off of animals alive and leaving them to die, cutting the fins off of sharks and leaving them to die, hurting and killing just to do it (sometimes for food, but often just sadism), torturing children, raping children and others who are getting paid to provide children to be raped literally just keeping children in cages and getting money to send them off to be raped then back in the cage until it's raping time again tomorrow. Animals born into cages and kept in cages for years, just fed until time to cut their throats, just a life of years of misery ending in early death.

So yeah, it's the facts of life. The way humanity is as a whole, the atrocities that are committed by humans every day and are continuing to happen. The fact that nothing is changing and there are even many people who laugh about it and think it's funny. It just shows we as a species are selfish, greedy, lazy, and don't give a shit about anything or anyone unless it's a part of our own very small ecosystem of ourselves and our loved ones or personal pets.

I have been betrayed by so many people. People I loved and cared about.

My sister hurt me deeply. She spread many vicious lies about me and bullied me most of my life. We don't speak now after she threatened my life. All out of jealousy. I'd always forgive her and and be there for her, but she totally destroyed me inside

I was also in a physically abuse relationship for years. I suffered mental, emotional and physical abuse. He beat me so badly one time that he broke my ribs and knocked out 3 of my teeth. I had to undergo surgery because of it.

Every person that's entered my life has turned out to be either a narcissist or had psychopathic tendencies. I'm not a poor judge of character. I'm an empath and perceptive. I just ways looked over red flags because I believed in giving people a chance and forgiving people. Not now though.

I have countless stories to tell. My mum often says she admires me because I'm strong. It irritates me when she says that i'm strong, because I'm not. I have depression, panic disorder and anxiety due to all I've been through. I'm just a shell of a person becauase I'm deeply wounded. If I was strong, I'd be a happy and mentally healthy person. Other people's treatment of me wouldn't have changed who I am.

The person i miss most in my life is the person I used to be. My old self. But she doesn't exist anymore.

I've never met one decent human during my life so far. I believe they exist. I just haven't crossed paths with them, because they're few and far between.

But I hate this dirty, cruel and dangerous world. How will good people survive in this world? Why is GOD silent? Why bad people so successful and happy? Why are good people suffering? I always have these questions in my mind.

I agree with you. It's hard to find a person with pure heart. Nobody is perfect. I can accept a people with some flaws and imperfections but I can't accept worst people, cheaters, cons, scammers, backstabbers, hypocrites, etc.

It's a mix for me, but the thing I've lost faith in is mostly men when they're able to act without a filter, AKA being anonymous online or being rich enough to avoid consequences. A lot of it just has to do with seeing how much my being a woman turns into objectification when interacting with men in anonymous or online spaces and how little I matter to them unless I can fulfill their sexual desires. But I also know this behavior only happens when there's no consequences and they don't care.

I don't want to believe they don't care at all, but rather that they're placed into an environment where they're encouraged not to that prompts this behavior. I still want to have hope that people can be good.

I am sorry for that. Girls /women are not sexually objects. They are just humans who wants a loving, caring partner. Sex is just part of a healthy relationship, it's not everything. Remember all men are not same. I wanted to date seriously but some girls assumed that I am just looking for sex. Some girls were looking for wealthy boyfriend. Some were not serious about dating. It's not my mistake but I am still single.

I just learned the police doesn’t have to protect citizens and apparently there’s been court cases in different states where the Supreme Court says clearly “Police have no duty to protect the public”. So I just wonder, why do the public, citizens, innocent, guilty, hell everyone pays taxes to THEM and for what reason. I am just confused regarding the entire police department even the Supreme Court. Especially considering the fact that the police murders people for fun and get away with it. The terrible things people are out there doing to each other and the cold heartless bullshit of daily violence and especially all the kids being beaten and abused or sexually assaulted , all those things tend to make a person lose faith. But i dont think its too late to fix it somehow if everyone would start doing something kind for a stranger and pass it on, etc. Those small acts of humanity would go a long way

It's more than just the news for me. Through personal experience, I've been BETRAYED, USED, stepped on to get ahead, lied to for their own benefit, sold a dream to, scammed, etc. I'm too gullible 😞. Yeah, plenty of people who I thought were my friends have taken advantage of me and used me, only to leave me high and dry. Just a couple of years ago, a girl who I loved and I thought loved me used and abused me more than anyone else had ever done. She manipulated and gaslighted me and even beat on me on more than one occasion. I can't bring myself to lay hands on a female so I just let her do it. The bruises and black eyes hurt, but what hurt the most was that someone who I loved and had never been anything but kind, caring, and honorable towards could do something like that to me, that killed me.

I take a lot of jobs online. And never have gotten scammed before. I still kick myself. They sent me a check that the bank said wasn’t a scam. And then had me pay talent for a photo shoot. And since the check cashed, I thought all was well. Then of course the bank found it was a scam a few hours too late.

I tried suing the bank for telling me the check wasn’t fraudulent but dropped it. Why spend good money after bad, my lawyer told me.
