I do not see a problem with being on good terms with your Ex as long as your brother knows. And, you have listened to his opinion on the subject and respect his wishes. Family comes first and he did invest in her.

That girl is not stupid and you should keep this in mind. She may still be trying to hurt your brother and you are a great toll to use for that hurting effort.

There's multiple factors for that. Was their breakup amicable or messy? Was there any cheating involved from either side? How does your brother feel about you talking to her?
There's a lot of things to consider. All i can say is communication is key.

Was not messy but after she was gone for national guard work she needed space for work and ended up on him moving on. Knows there's a social media friend between us
