What do you think they're trying to do? Like they change their whole schedule just to see the other person and haven't mentioned that they are married to that person. Instead they're actively flirting, touching, spending extra time with that person and seem very happy around them.

It seems like he likes this person very much. So much so that he is willing to change his schedule to be in her presence. It sounds like something is already going on between them and this is his way to convey great amount of interest to her.

It will be interesting to see what happens overtime. In today's world who knows what crazy wife is conceal and carrying and finds both of them and outs a permanent end to the affair. Be careful...
