Girls, would you massage one of your girlfriends feet if she asked? Would you think it was weird to see a girl giving a friend a foot massage?

The other night, at a house party, a female friend of mine complained about her feet hurting from walking in heels that day and was sitting on the couch massaging her own feet. A good girlfriend of her's grabbed her ankles and put her feet on her lap and massaged them for her. It lasted about 5 minutes. Obviously, no one thought much of it but I made a comment to a friend about how normal and even cute it is to see a friend helping another friend like that, when they're both women. He said how odd it would be to see two guys doing that. I definitely agreed. What are your thoughts?

I agree, seeing two guys rubbing each others feet would be weird but I wouldn't think anything if two girls were doing it. They tend to show a lot of affection toward friends. A couple weeks ago, my sis in law had her feet on her mom's lap on the couch while we were playing Pictionary. Her feet and ankles were a little swollen and hurt from a long flight.

I have a foot phobia so personally I’m not massaging my friends feel but for someone without the aversion I have it’s normal. 9/10 she was wearing heels all day and as another woman we get how tired her feet probably were.
