Like they have made you believe that they’re this real, honest, genuine and authentic person so it’s like whatever they say and do, you never question it because you assume it’s with good intentions because a real, honest, genuine and authentic person would never do anything with bad intent.

What you described is gaslighting.

If a person says hey I'm A. And you see B. But then they express they are A.. yes start questioning them.

But if they are living their authentic truths and tell you everything up front and you still take them. Don't get hurt or call them a liar. Because they are what they say they are.. mostly.
