If your girl/guy wasn’t cool with someone, would you distance yourself from that person too? (Page 2)

Say its someone you know of through your girlfriend/boyfriend. The person has always been respectful to you but your significant other cannot stand them. Would you distance yourself from them too? Remain cordial at best? Still get to know them to gain your own opinion of the person? Etc? I already know I’m petty, so like, if y'all not cool, we not cool. And thats that 😂 I’d absolutely distance myself from anyone that my dude wasn’t cool with. We’re a package deal and I take having eachother’s back very seriously. So not only do we ride together but that can include the both of us rolling out on yo azz 🤣 Like I’m watching this show and her boyfriend is pissing me off. He knows the girl was mistreated by certain people but he’s still bringing these people around her and inviting them to their events, despite him only knowing of them through her. Like its just disrespectful and the ultimate slap in the face to his partner #FeelFreeToList

I think it depends on why she's not cool with them. If it's just because, then I'd be cordial. If it's because they mistreated her, I wouldn't be cool with them either.

Depends if there's good cause. If it's another woman that's flirting and wanting sex with me, yeah I would. Or if a guy friend is trying to get with my girl, then definitely. If there's no good cause I wouldn't distance myself.

It would depend on who and for what reason…. and if it were just a girlfriend vs wife. I would talk to her to understand her concerns and then speak with my friend regarding the issues. TBD after that.

If you truly believe your partner is your future, they must be your priority.
However, sometimes it's useful to play good cop, bad cop with someone like that. Keep a channel open if it suits you both.

Every single person that she’s cool with has I’m going to have a problem with so I hope she will distance herself from all those people. I can really careless about who it is.
