I haven’t met my boyfriends parents and we’re pregnant?

Every single one of my boyfriends girlfriends has met his mum, he seems to rush into relationships I’m what I’ve gathered. He did tell me at the start he’s taking things slower as the biggest mistake before was introducing a woman to his mom that ruined his life.

( To my knowledge she did ruin his life and stressed his mom out and this was only 2 months before me) But I’m carrying his baby and I have not even met his mother? Should I be concerned? he's bought it up a few times about how she wants to meet me but it’s never went through? He’s met mine and is at my house all the time and sleeps I’ve never once went to his? We moved relatively faced but at the end of the day there is a baby on the way and Im not going to just bring my kid around some family I don’t even know.

Am I being a bit irrational here or is it normal to feel this way? I’ve only mentioned it once but I’m starting to get a bit frustrated inside. He is 25 im 23 so it’s not like it’s some teenage situation

But I’m also unsure if to take into consideration that he’s careful with who he brings around his mother know but I’m having her grandchild and I don’t even know the woman yet

I’ve been with my boyfriend almost 2 years and didn’t meet his mom until about 7 months in, and only in passing-by. Meanwhile he’s pretty close with my mom and I familiarized them to each other very soon into our relationship. For many women this may not work, but when him and I were dating, he informed my of the rough relationship they have, and I respect how he navigates his relationship with his mom. I’ve got my own mom to worry about. For you, it sounds like you have a good understanding of his pattern of bringing women around and you feel excluded. I get it. Maybe he feels nervous to bring you around As “yet another girlfriend”, or even to tell her he’s gotten you pregnant. Maybe he isn’t on the best speaking terms with her. Who knows. But it’s up to you to respect that dynamic separately and decide if it works for you. Like without our input, is not meeting his mom genuinely concerning? Or do you feel left out since you’re seemingly the only girlfriend who he didn’t introduce to her in a timely fashion? Figure out what about this bothers you and address it.

I do completely understand where he’s coming from in terms of bringing girls home quickly his relationships have seemed to last like not even 6 months and they’ve met the mom which I would be the same and a bit hesitant to bring him round my mom if that was the case. I just feel left out compared to the other girls that have met her, honestly I do think it is soon to meet his mom but it’s just the fact that the other girls met her in a month but he did tell me he regretted it. I got pregnant fast after 3 months of us and I’ve only known him for 5 so I do understand in a way I guess

Yeah, it’s important to keep things in perspective and keep in mind you’ve got a lot of hormones/emotions that are different for you now that you’re pregnant. I don’t say this to invalidate how you feel, it’s fair to an extent. But looking at the bigger picture, if he’s got a revolving door of girlfriends Merton his mom, maybe she’s sick of that or disinterested in meeting a girlfriend when she’ll be gone in a few months. To me, this seems like a bigger concern than simply meeting his mom. It’s about feeling secure in your relationship… do you? Because if you worry that you’re yet another woman then it’s worth talking to him about. It’s about you and him, not how quickly you meet his mom.

You are worrying about the wrong thing.

You strongly imply that this guy jumps around from girl to girl. Then he jumps to you, and promptly knocks you up - and actually calls it taking things slowly. He is being completely irresponsible by getting you pregnant, especially so quickly. And you are being just as irresponsible by getting pregnant so quickly. And your concern is meeting his mother?

Your priorities are completely twisted. What you should be concerned about is why you end up with someone like this guy. You should be concerned about how you managed to get pregnant so quickly, or at all for that matter. Most of all, you should be concerned about how you are going to raise and support that baby. That's especially true since that guy is probably going to bail.

I know. I have just accepted it now though as I’m already 4 months pregnant know the gender bought a house and got everything prepared. I was concerned about the whole situation but I found out very late I was pregnant and seen the scan so I knew I would not be getting rid of it but instead just changed my life around and doing things for the baby.
