My partner recently went on a trip. He left approximately one week ago. We FT each other regularly and keep each other updated. I'm happy that he's even fun even though I miss him. I've been having these nightmares almost every night that we've been having huge arguments or that he's talking to someone else. Our relationship is great but I don't know why I keep having these dreams. I can't wait for him to come back. I just want to have a night of deep sleep.
I've had very negative dreams about my husband, in the same vein as yours, where we are arguing, etc. They aren't linked to something he's actually done, or that we were going through. It's strange, that total disconnection. I can't explain it.
My advice - don't tell him anything about it. And definitely don't get mad at him, like some women do. "Why are you hitting me?" "Because you were cheating on me, being an ass..." etc etc. "But it was a dream!" He's right. It's your mind. It's not a premonition.
s Your not alone! When my husband goes away or just is not there cause he wakes up sooner.
My nightmares always go to us fighting and him getting so mad but he never gets mad at me.
Twice woken up so mad at him for cheating but it was just a dream. Took a whole two days to get over it the first time and he was so sorry 😞.
Your subconscious is insecure in your relationship. It is intruding into your dreams.
I guess you feel less secure without him there
