What would you do if you are married and your partner owns the house and kicks you out of her house?

I'm not sure where you live but in Illinois you can't kick him out.

If he's lived there for more than 30 days, gets his mail there, etc. - he has established residency and cannot simply be kicked out. The only way the police will intervene and make him leave is if there is physical aggression.

I know this because my sister is going through this now - the house is all hers and he won't leave.

Not necessarily. Look at Kevin Costner. His wife tried to take his home from him recently, and the judge ordered her to get out, because she had no legal rights to the home he had brought. Being married doesn't always mean you also own the home.

The person whom I know is married and had her husband kick her out of the house after they had a fight, she think because they are married she also owns the house, but she actually doesn't own it, even if they are married.

I know someone who had this happen to them and I laughed. She deserved it. Plus if he brought the house with his own money and she has not contributed a cent to paying off the house, she should not have any rights to that house.

Nope. I don't believe in that crap. If he paid the home off by himself and she did not contribute a cent to pay for the house. She doesn't own any of the house in my opinion.

I think it is disgusting when women expect to take half the house or all of the house she never paid for or didn't help pay. Sorry women should buy themselves their own home with their own money.

I know but sometimes their name are both on titles so maybe she has a right to take the half of it.

I stand by what I said. Regardless if her name is on the home or not, if she didn't pay a cent towards it, she shouldn't have any legal rights to that home. The only exception I would give, is if the person who paid for the house died.

I know but lawmakers made that for a reason maybe its for kids if they have kids someday they will inherit it.

The bitch robbed me off being able to cut my baby's umbilical cord because she jumped in and cut the cord. She also didn't take any photos for me yet she wanted to sit there for months nagging me and pressuring me to allow her to be there in the delivery room and she laughed about what she done. She also came to my home went into my room without my permission stooped so low to take back the gift she had given to my baby who is also her niece and than regift it to her sons pregnant girlfriend who she Barely knows.

She also tried to make me and my baby homeless, she even tried to have my baby taken off me. She had also illegally accessed the work computers at the hospital to gain inform on people.
