Maybe you just haven't found the right person. Romance, I think what is turning you off about it is it's fleeting. It just lasts only so often? While, agape love, or that stable type of love, you are looking for it for it's stable foundation. It's more genuine in your eyes. I agree with how you are feeling, it's the CHEAP kind of love in a sense. You can be romantic with ANYONE, but with the other kind, it is more special because maybe yeah, they are your blood ( your genes), or there's just a deeper bond there somehow. ..

By the way, you can have MORE than one type of love with your partner not just a romantic one just so you know. I am living that right now with my fiance.
