Is it okay to return my ex girlfriend because of not having found the new one?

We have broken up with each other whole a year ago for bad reasons, basically we had truly toxic and extremely boring realtionship and I had never felt her love and affection with me during our times then we terminated this toxic relationship. I had several searches for the new people after some time passed away from our breakup, but never met someone who could fulfill my heart at anytime, never agreed with anyone else spiritually, emotionally and physically at any time. Briefly to say that, my flirtious attempts never went beyond the borders of flirting circle. My was toxic, she used me as the rebound love but noticed that she was my single girlfriend ever so I have currently been planning to go back to her again but do not dare ot to do since we'd separeted so awfully. What should I do? Does it really sound logical? What would she react if I could knock her door out once more again right now? What would you do if you were me or her?
