I went out for dinner with a girl. She told me she was in a long distance relationship. Three months laters we started dating, she told me she ended it because the guy actually had a girlfriend in his hometown. At the beginning she was quite cold and unavailable, but after two weeks she started texting me first, planning dates, and hugging me long and tight. Some say it's a mistake, I was always available for her because I really enjoyed the time we spent together. She seemed really into me, but as soon as she started reaching out to me more and more she felt the need to tell me she feels like we're rushing and she doesn't want to get physical too soon and regret it. After one month, she suddenly disappeared an entire weekend. She did contact me, I replied, but took hours for her to reply. I found out she spent the weekend with her ex. So when she returned I confronted her, and stopped contacting her. We haven't talked for four days, then she sent me a random text. I replied but didn't continue the conversation. Then on Friday night at 11PM she sends me another random text. When I say random text, it's not a "how are you", but just random stuff she was thinking about or remembered about. Then she posted a photo on Instagram, she had about 600 likes. Half an hour later, she texted me "oh, you liked my photo". The following day she wanted to go out for coffee after work. I refused. Two days later, I think she stalked me (I own a coffeeshop), she was right in front of the coffeeshop, saw me and texted me, let's drink a coffee. Okay, what else can I do now? That was yesterday. Today I stumbled upon her and her boyfriends car parked at a hotel. I was going to have late dinner and it's the hotel restaurant is the only place open so late. I don't believe he is actually her ex. It's the second time in two weeks when I find out they are sleeping together. If I stopped initiating any conversation or dates, and she has a boyfriend, why is she still contacting me?
She is regularly having sex with a guy. I pulled back. Why does she keep contacting me?

I hate to break this to you... but some women are attention whores. Posts a photo to Instagram and gets 600 likes? woman or not... what kind of person even has their picture seen 600 times?
So if she has this, this, and that... why would she still contact you? Attention doooode! You were probably the equivalent of a steady drip of attention. Attention whores are addicted to attention like a crackhead is addicted to crack. You're that slow and steady source of dopamine and you cutting back on being her 'emotional tampon' is going to get felt by her. She's trying to kickstart you right back into simping out if you feel what I'm saying here.
Think about it like these social media chicks that do it for a living. They hide having a real boyfriend for what reason? They constantly beg for attention for what reason? A lot of these chicks might not make the money off it or sell their onlyfans (Join my onlyfans/D_Bone_Steak) like it, but they're still addicted to that game... the same games that some pokimane or Belle Delphine plays just on a lower level and the currency is attention instead of money.
I think the first step you've taken in the right direction is by not being her beta orbiter or emotional tampon and just getting the fuck away from her. Take a few more steps back and just watch her insanity from a distance. If it wasn't you it would've been someone else. And it will be someone else anytime you're not available or in her face. That's why attention whores are notorious for being cheaters. I mean FFS, think about this boyfriend she's with... she has this fucking dude and then she's been out and about talking to you. That boyfriend is the real loser in all of her bullshit and outside of boinking her, I wouldn't think you or I would want to be in his shoes.
