Do you agree that in general conventionally good looking men are more successful with women than conventionally normal or bad-looking guys?

I always tell people that the vast majority of good looking guys I know are successful with women and the normal and not so good looking ones were those who still are struggling or they have struggled in general, and they stare me as I am saying that the moon is made of cheese.

They try to say that is ''personality'' and ''other factors that play a role'', when is clearly the ''appearance''.

So do u agree with the situation I have observed?

Yes it’s fairly obvious that a girl seeing a very good looking guy v a normal or ugly, will have initial attraction to the good looking one. That’s where it ends though, I have mates that are great at football, rugby, would be considered hot by girls, however of them some are a bit shit with the patter and bore the tits off most girls. You also get those that are just downright weird or creepy and girls give them a wide berth. Would a good looking guy likely get away with more things, yeah most likely, however the same holds true for guys with girls.

i don’t agree with those Normal etc struggle, a walk down the local high street shows that statement is wrong, normal people make up the vast part of the population and on a whole don’t struggle, unless they don’t have the patter, don’t come over as a decent or interesting person.

Guys will make these excuses when the routinely fail to get a girlfriend, they blame the ‘system’ being stacked against them, whereas it’s actually them being shit and even if they were ‘hot’ they would still fail.

finally, looks are subjective, who decides hot or not? Yes extremes are easy, however normal versus good looking, who decides that? Oh yeah the girl, which will then vary hugely.

I think so many women exploit men now-a-days for attention that most guys don't know what to think. A woman's opinion of him will change with a prevailing breeze. So I don't think men put to much stock in what a woman is thinking at anytime as he's knows it's likely to change at any moment.

I do think a lot of women have become very masculine and very competitive. They view the type of man thier with as an extention of her quality. So an ugly mo' fugger brings down her value to her.

So "more successful" is a subjective term? Successful at what? getting her attention? F***ing her? A loving relationship? Because a loving relationship probably isn't going to happen. He's and accessory to her, nothing more. She might love him like she loves a nice pair of shoes. Or someone she feels that gives her added value. But that's not really love.

I think there are a lot of psychologically f***ed women now-a-days that I'm not sure will ever be capable of loving any guy in a healthy way. I just hope they are using protection so as not taint the next generation.

Looks are damn important. Say whatever you want but people prefer good looks. But if they are trash in nature, it's harder to keep them around. Then their place is trash can.
It's okay to like people for there looks. We all do this. Even little babies are shy when they see a good looking person. It's instinct maybe. But we get the guy feeling that we won't be able to keep them because they are not good personality wise. I got with some guys who were decent looking but eventually I got fed up because it was not worth putting that much effort for someone who doesn't care. They start to take for granted when you are with them. It's common. But being hopeful is better for future 🔮.

I mean... obviously if we use good vs bad looks as the only criteria good looks win out. That's a no contest.

If we were to use good looks but socially repulsive vs bad looks but socially gifted, we'd have an actual talking point.

But sure. Looks are always key. Appearance has always been the most accurate translation of the difficulty level of life. For men and women both.

I do view it as though you need looks to get to the point of gaining interest, and other things to hold it.

Define “success” , define “normal” . I couldn’t say anyone was wrong if that truly is their observation but I’d honestly think they need to observe more and experience more.
I would happily say that the more conventionally good looking guy may initially get more attention.. but is that your idea of success? .. or maybe you mean good looking guys get laid more , is that success? That sounds empty and meaningless to me. Surely the idea is to find someone special that loves you deeper than your looks , I mean they fade right? . In my opinion looks may make it easier only at the very beginning , the introduction after that you need to bring a lot more game to sustain anything beyond being just a trophie. Maybe you need to think more of women and want more from a woman than her interest in looks alone !

I think it's other factors. I know guys who look gorgeous but have serious trouble appealing to women (possibly because they've never had to put effort into the initial attraction). The slightly less attractive guys tend to know they have to put a little effort into their appearance, manners, conversation, etc. The very plain guys possibly try a little too hard... and that's got to be factored into the sliding scale of what women find appealing.

Some amount of looks matters at a point but after that it's really about the personality and I am not just being nice... its true.. i hv seen the most beautiful girls go with the most mid looking boys just bcz they are happy together.. and they are really compatible.. coz he makes her feel good and safe..
