People use logic too much. You don't thank someone or give someone praise because it is logical. That's not why you do it. I get that house chores aren't seen as impressive as other things but that is completely irrelevant to saying thank you or praising someone.

It's just ignorance. Most people are very very ignorant. People reading this probably don't even know what tf I'm talking about. If I read my comment 7 or 8 years ago I'd disagree with my answer and think I was an idiot. My comment wouldn't even make sense to me first of all.

I'll tell you why you do it.

1. It produces gratitude in your own mind. You might wanna thank the universe for the breath in your lungs. It's mundane so you probably never do.

2. It makes use of the Law of Praise. Praising something by law encourages it to continue.

3. It is apart of a pleasing personality and it is certainly affecting your husbands mental attitude.

You see it is always us that is the problem. It's our entitled attitude. We think stuff just happens. No you make it happen. You don't just find the right guy... You found the right guy because you were in harmony with it. Opposites DO NOT attract.
