If similar personalities are not very rare, does the concept of "soulmate" or "the one" make sense?

For isntance you have someone who u feel is your soulmate, maybe that's your partner. You watch the same movies or same music, maybe you have same or similar philosophical ideas or same goals or different goals but you work that out very well and above all kindness and respect for each other and eavch other's opinion, thats what makes them special.

But there can be other people with the same taste, same ideas same kind of respect. I mean we are not that unique in terms of characteristic and personalities. With some minor differences here and there. Maybe some people are just a little more rare than others.

So that means, there are other people who could be your soulmate. you just didn't meet them? You met one and he/she's your the one. What im trying to say is there isn't just one person for us right? we just look for the one and stick to them [or lose them due to stupidity, thats another story].
