If you feel that playing an instrument is a turn on, is there any line you draw, and where would draw it?
It's definitely a trun on. The only problem is if you play in a band, and practice a lot, you could be leaving her alone too much. Which causes big problems. That was the one thing my husband and I argued about. He left me alone too much. We had just had a baby, and he still left me alone to practice his electric guitar. We ended up divorced finally.

I don't really care all that much everyone has there own little hobbies and talents just as long as they don't plan on serenading me as that's mega cringe speaking from experience

I'm more indifferent about that. I'd care more if they have a broad music taste. Mainly because I love listening to all types of music & sharing it with people I care about.
okay, this may just be me but I find that guys who play instruments *well* are arguably more attractive than one who does not, granted that he doesn’t make it his entire personality or seek out tons of attention or praise from it. I understand playing your instrument for people every now and then or bringing it up in conversation…but playing uninvited or when the other person doesn’t want to hear it at that moment just kinda ticks me off I suppose. Like “Hey, I know you wanted to hang out but instead I’m gonna play this instrument and you’re going to sit there and listen” It’s different it it’s something cool that they wanted to share like a song they wrote or a full piano or EDM piece that they learned, but if it’s just their part in their band music…pease don’t…I’m begging you 🥲
I met a girl who was a bartender. We dated a couple of times and I thought she was nice. Then she invited me to listen to her perform at a local open mike, I did not know she was an aspiring singer. She played guitar and she had a beautiful voice. She won the open ike that night and I was toatlly blown away.
Turn on, UNLESS they are really bad at it and practice all the time.
In college there was a girl in my dorm who looked all bohemian and walked around with her violin case, but when she actually played it people thought someone was torturing a cat.
I would say I'd be impressed. I play the guitar, depending on what they played it would be something to talk about.
It would not be a sexual turn on but it could be something we clicked over.
Gamer women who can play instruments, draw, animate, and code are the best.
I don't care if a woman plays a musical instrument or not but it's cool if she does. It's not a turn on. I work at a live music venue and girls get razzle dazzled by that rock star cool guy bullshit all the time, though.
Yes but its nuanced. It's a turn on if it's the right instrument. Sometimes I see guys pop up in my feed playing a violin... that's a girls instrument. Or a guy playing some basic piano songs. That's boring. That's for your personal enjoyment. Only the top.1% of pianists can play those and get views.
I'd say it's only really a turn on when you're making your own music.
I love it is she can play or sing. I've dated women who play piano, guitar, drums, even a violinist.
Neither. I dated someone who played piano (we are both piano players) and our preferred styles of playing were so different, we drove each other crazy. Lol
I consider a woman who plays a musical instrument a turn off because I see it as an indicator of no shared hobbies. I also see it as an example of having nothing in common.
Being a musician myself and such a music fan, it is a major turn-on.
As long as they don’t whip it out at every get together.
Depends on the instrument. A violin or viola will damn near put me in a trance
It's definitely a turn on
I prefer singers to musicians.
I still play trombone and keyboard.
Why would it ever be a turn off?
