Do you like being the big spoon or the little spoon?

Personally I'm usually the little spoon since I'm a lot smaller than my boyfriend and that's the most comfortable. But he likes being small spoon too some times. 😊

But I’ve tried to take initiative to be big spoon and then been told by him that it felt weird to him to be small spoon

Honest to goodness it depends on how im feeling. If im feeling down, or sick, its a wonderful feeling to just be held. So in that respect i like the little spoon. But when sleeping together, i prefer to be the big spoon.

Its more than that. I constantly tell my wife that "you give the best hugs". She once asked me why.. I told her that its because i love her, that its warm, and honestly, unlike women, who seem to have less boundaries to touch than men do, Hers are the only hugs i want, and can have. So after a long day of work, and no contact with anyone, no simple human touch, And mountains of stress, Her hugs when i come home to her, are like heaven on earth. They are the best ever.

When she cuddles me, I'm on my back with her head on my chest, her arm around me, and her leg over me. My arm is around her and my other hand holds her arm.

I think I'd quite like to be the little spoon. I find hugs from people I'm comfortable with to be soothing and relaxing and I imagine it would feel the same. Maybe more relaxing and soothing.
