Why do some people think it's an achievement to sleep with taken/married people?

I find it disgusting and immoral. You wouldn't want it to happen to you, but you do it to other people..

I know the blame should be shared with the cheating partner, but the one getting in between shouldn't have done it in the first place.

Because villains exist and are made. I had a guy I used to work with who was cheated on in this way and he went to the darkside afterwards because of it. I told him it's WRONG to do that. And he said it was wrong when it was done to him. But guess what, It still happened.

We live in a world with too many people with too few morals and values. This is a large reason I stay single I assume most women will cheat on you at the drop of a hat. Because so few women want anything g lasting anymore. Half of them probably don't trust men either. So they chase whatever guy is giving the squishy feelings at the women. Does matter if the back of her mind she knows he's going to kick her to the curb tomorrow. She has the illusion of tonight. That's all that matters to a majority of women today. Many guys know that. And a significant number apparently will exploit this.
